\Staal brothers drinking game
Ok the NHL conference finals are here! If you follow hockey at all, you might have heard Eric and Jordan Staal are facing each other and for the 1000th time, they are brothers. Whether your a fan of either team or just an NHL fan in general looking for a nice fun way of getting drunk, I present to you, the Staal brothers drinking game!
This game can be played with a group or for all you alcoholics, by yourself.
Also keep in mind I'm a pretty solid drinker so adjust the seconds and chugs as you see fit.
Drink for 10 seconds everytime:
-They announce that the Staals, are in fact, brothers (double that each time they say it thereafter)
-If the announcers use a corny catchphrase to talk about the brothers, such as "sibling rivalry" or "there will be no botherly love tonight" or something to that effect
-If they mention where the Staals grew up and that it was on a sod farm
-If the announcers point out that both the Staals are on the ice at the same time. (Once again, double the time if it's mentioned each time after the first time)
-If the announcers mention that there are other Staal brothers that play in the NHL.
-If there is any reference at all to the Staal's parents (Double the time again if they bring them up again)
-If a Staal on Staal play is mentioned (i.e Jordan went right around brother Eric or Eric strips the puck from Jordan!)
-Everytime a random fact is brought up about the Staal family (Double time there after)
Chug double/Finish your drink if:
-The Staal's stats are shown in comparision to each other during the game
-They show the Staal's hugging or shaking hands at center ice before the game or between periods
-They actually show a family video or picture of the Staal's
-During intermission, one of the Staal brothers is interviewed (make it double the time or drinks if the one is asked anything about playing against his brother)
-If they actually show the Staal's parents in the stands
-Any of the Staal's score a goal
-The announcers actually compare their attributes to each other (i.e Jordan is better at playing D, but Eric is a pure goal scorer)
Finish the entire stash of alcohol you have if:
-The Staal's fight each other or rough each other up to the point where it's almost a fight
Make up any more rules as you go, that's the best i could do for now. Play with beer or liquor, whatever way you can personally drink plenty for no good reason. Of course, any person passing out before the game is over deserves extremely harsh penalties set by their friends
